How the application, the assignment, portfolios and referrals work.
For roles hired through this platform, submitting your application issues the role’s practical assignment. Open the brief, use any attached source files, and submit your work from your candidate account. Some platform roles have a separate application site.
The application includes shared questions, including salary expectations, and questions specific to the role. Read the role’s requirements before starting. The practical assignment is issued on submission.
You can still submit. The countdown is tracked and never enforced, so nothing locks when it reaches zero. The assignment brief states the expected time.
Your submission can include files, links, written context, and a walkthrough URL. Follow the brief and make your own contribution clear.
Your applications and assignment submissions stay private. A public portfolio is separate: only the content you choose to publish appears there.
Yes. Anyone with a verified account can create a portfolio. It is free to create and share, and no application is required.
Yes. Edit privately and publish your changes when ready. You can unpublish while keeping your draft. Your chosen address stays fixed. Copies already saved elsewhere may remain.
If someone applies through your link, is hired, and starts, 8x finance pays you 10 percent of their first-month salary. Your referral view shows the role, status, and date, never the applicant’s name or email.
